 Fabulous Property and Fabulous Hosts! We visited Ajijic for some dental work and to research the area with the view to possible retirement in a couple of years. We had a wonderful stay in the casita and the hosts, Ramón and Sue, went above and beyond what was expected. They greeted us and made sure that we knew where everything was and how things worked and they were a wealth of knowledge on just about everything in the area. They referred us to some great dining experiences and activities that we otherwise would not have discovered. They are a lovely couple and really made our stay relaxing and fun. The casita itself is just like in the photos and was spotlessly clean and bigger than we expected. Very secure too, which is important to me. The grounds and pool area are stunning. We would definitely stay there again! 

 Home away from home. We enjoyed our six week stay in Casita Grande. The casita itself is full of Mexican charm and the yard is a beautifully manicured tropical oasis. The location is close to everything and it’s easy to get around. The owners were quick to tend to our needs or concerns and kept us informed on what was going on around town. Ajijic has many good restaurants and there is always something to do. This was the perfect place for us to familiarize ourselves with the area. 

 Very Happy. Ramon is a great host and the casita we stayed in was updated, clean and comfortable. Very centrally located in the middle of a very active neighborhood. You can see fireworks from the roof! We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and meeting the other folks who were staying, in different casitas, on the property. I definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to walk to restaurants, shops and be in the center of local activity!  

 Wonderful stay in Ajijic. Ramon and Susan's Mirador Loft suite is beautiful, very clean, and in great proximity to central Ajijic. I totally recommend staying at their place.  

 Best place to stay in Ajijic! We can’t say enough about the wonderful time we had here! The hosts are amazing! The casita was perfect and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need and the bed was super comfy. The pool was fun and so warm. The location just doesn’t get any better. A perfect home away from home with a lovey dog to welcome you. Absolutely loved staying there. Thank you, Sue and Ramon, for everything. We will see you when we come back. 

 Excellent stay in a lovely property! Ramon and Sue have a lovely property and were friendly & attentive hosts. The apartment was lovely and well equipped and the grounds were peaceful and very well maintained. The property is only a few minutes walk to the plaza, the tianguis, other shopping and lots of restaurants. Also it is only 3 blocks to the Ajijic bus station to catch the bus to go to Chapala, San Antonio, San Juan Cosala, Jocotepec or the direct bus to Guadalajara. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again. 

 Ramon and Sue's place was the best place we've ever stayed at in our little village of Ajijic. And we've been going there for about 12 years. It is very centrally located...you can walk absolutely everywhere. It's safe...behind a large locked gate and the accommodation was great. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The gardens are lovely and there is a pool which we swam in every day. Heated and immaculately clean. Covered barbecue area with seating beside pool. Nice for drinks before dinner. Ramon and Sue couldn't have been more helpful. Almost felt like family by the time we left! Oh and Tilly, their wonderful dog used to visit us regularly! All in all a great experience and can't wait to return!  

 Have been coming to Ajijic for more than 10 years and first met Susan and Ramon several years ago. They caught the Ajijic bug and have made a wonderful oasis which is very central to all, but very quiet and private with banana trees, mangos and herb gardens for us to use. Ramon and Susan are very solicitous to any needs that may pop up. Cooking and entertaining, sunsets with wine on the top of the mirador, getting refreshed in the very clean pool, enjoying our neighbors, waking to the sounds of the birds, having Tilly come in and check on us...are all the great memories from the Casa Grande. Yes we will be back next year.  

 Casa Del Angel Feliz is a hidden Gem. Hidden, because it's not on Airbnb or Flipkey. You don't just get a key and a map and a "have a good time". While your unit is completely private, you're on the grounds of a beautiful home that your hosts have lovingly built with attention to every detail of your stay. You are met by Ramon who shows you how to work everything, and has kindly provided fresh fruit and freshly ground local coffee.  

 Casa del Angel Feliz is a wonderful oasis right in the center of Ajijic and within walking distance of literally everything the town has to offer. We never used our car other than if we drove out of town. “When I realized it was only one block off the very busy main road through town, I was concerned about noise as we are both very light sleepers. However, as soon as we walked through the secured high gate into the property we were immediately captivated by the tranquilness of the property. Other than the occasional emergency vehicle sirens, you really don’t hear any noise from the main road and our casita had our bedroom, bathroom and kitchen window facing onto the street a block off the main road. It is a quiet street with the occasional sound of a vehicle passing by and the charming sound of horse hoofs on the cobblestone street most mornings. “Ramon and his wife (the hosts) live with their two friendly dogs in the main house at the back of the lot. The property includes two nice size and very comfortable casitas at the front of the property (one with an amazing kitchen for a casita) separated from each other by the front entry and stairs and a smaller casita at the back behind the small pool and barbecue area. Two of the three casitas are accessed by stairs and the one where we stayed is at ground level set into the garden. There is a common use mirador on top of the one casita that has chairs and a table to enjoy the view of the town, the church and the lake. “The garden is beautiful with lush vegetation everywhere and a haven for birds. The owners have done a fabulous job of making their place inviting, peaceful and comfortable and we found Ramon to be one of the kindest, generous hosts we have had the pleasure to meet in our many years of travel. They have done everything with quality right down to the high thread count sheets and high-quality washer/dryer for guests use and their places include most everything you need. On the rare occasion when we needed something, Ramon responded immediately and nothing seemed too much trouble. They include maid service once a week and the ladies who work here all took precautions with masks when on the property as does Ramon when you are in close proximity to him. A gardener and pool service visit a few times a week so everything is beautifully maintained. “Ramon offers discounts for longer term stays and his places are very well set up this. We initially booked for a week because we did not know what our plans were but ended up staying a month. If we return to the area for a short stay again, we hope to be lucky enough to reserve a casita at Casa del Angel Feliz. Its truly one of the nicer places we have stayed in and we highly recommend it.
